Piya Podder ‘Tornado’

Delhi-based singer-songwriter Piya Podder’s achingly beautiful and evocative voice in her debut single ‘Tornado’ creates a sense of intimacy that makes for a seamless fit with the theme of the song. “Tornado expresses the struggle behind a mind that doesn’t stop overthinking or worrying. The song takes a deep dive into the mental health of the protagonist, struggling to keep her mind from spiralling and her thoughts from going out of control,” wrote Piya while releasing the song on her YouTube Channel.
