Homegrown Staff

With increasing consciousness around the fact that the Earth has limited resources, people have begun to turn towards studies of conservation and sustainable living choices. But it is one thing to individually drive change and another to lead a group of people in an organisation to do the same. This is where the discipline of conservation leadership comes in. The Nature Conservation Foundation is a non-governmental wildlife conservation and research organisation based out of Mysore, Karnataka. The NCF has announced 9 online courses on conservation leadership which are to run from February to April 2021. The courses are meant for conservation practitioners and cover basic conservation skills including wildlife research, effective stakeholder engagement, monitoring, evaluation, and communication. The courses aim to assist conservation practitioners in finding the best solutions to help them in their work.

These courses, that are meant for people who are engaged in conservation on-ground, are open to Indian researchers, students, local community members, conservation practitioners as well as government officials.
