Homegrown Staff

Rum Cold Coffee by Hipcask

These summer months make you crave something refreshing, something to kill the heat and something to battle the constant drowsiness. Welcome to the dangerously delicious world of Rum Cold Coffee.

Chilled espresso balanced with a tasteful dash of condensed milk and topped off with a splash (or two) of Mr. Old Monk is the perfect recipe to sneak into your morning mug or guzzle down after a trying day at the office. We personally find that this creation is a great way to kickstart a weekend brunch. Also, if you’re feeling in an experimental mood you might as well throw in a scoop of ice cream and blend this baby all summer long.

What You Need

  • 60ml of espresso
  • 2 teaspoons of condensed milk
  • 30 ml of Old Monk
  • Sufficient soberity to make another

How To Make It

Pour the ingredients into a shaker with ice, and shake-shake-shake for about 30 seconds. Then, train the mixture into an ice-filled glass and enjoy your frothy Rum Cold Coffee.
