Savour An Authentic Goan-Style Easter Feast In Mumbai

Shristi Kapoor

While Goa is known for its sun, sea, and shacks, Chef Floyd Cardoz ushered in a whole new relishing experience for our taste buds with O Pedro. By bringing the lesser-known traditional delicacies from Goa. This Easter they are unwrapping a special feast, right from the worn out pages of his Nana Cardoz’s handwritten cookbook with ‘Easter Feaster’.

An all-day treat ‘Easter Feaster’ will boast of Nana Cardoz’s heartwarming and scrumptious dishes like Bosco’s Pork Pan Rolls (minced pork roasted in garlic and dried chillies and deep fried in crepes), a special Easter Pulao (Squid, clams, prawn and scampi cooked with rice in a tomato chilli masala) for the seafood lovers , the famous Chorizo Benedict for the egg enthusiasts and many more to gorge into. To make this homemade meal even grander, overindulge into her famous Roast Suckling Feast.

No Goan Feast is complete without luscious cocktails, so start your feast with Pedro’s Petr Spritz- a drink with Prosecco, Aperol, Guava shrub lime topped with soda ore the Dai Kairi – a delicious and refreshing summer drink.

Though the Easter Bunny always brings the sweet treats, at O Pedro’s ‘Easter Feaster’ you will end your feast with their version of Bolo San Rival- a lip-smacking traditional Goan cake with toasted cashew meringue, burnt espresso cream and topped with chocolate crispies.

Put on your bright summer dresses and work up your appetite for the Easter Feaster on April 1, 2018 from 12 noon to 11:30 pm.
