The Pant Project Is A Digital Solution To Custom Tailoring In India

Gulbahaar Kaur

We are all well aware of the current state of the global fashion industry, the persistence of shorter trend cycles, over-saturated styles, loss of individuality in pieces and most importantly the ever-growing state of landfills. As customers, we are seeking ethical and conscious clothing labels that seek to repair the mess and curate a more wholesome shopping experience.

A brand offering digital solutions to the age-old sizing issue, The Pant Project launched in October 2020 is pioneering custom-made clothing in India. Bringing back the timeless appeal of fashion with e-tailors, the personalised service will help you customise clothing to your exact size. The industry is crowded with brands feeding off the fast-fashion culture, in addition to damaging the environment, the mass production of clothing takes away the essence of individuality.

Two young dreamers, Udit and Dhruv Toshniwal took on the project of changing such industry dynamics while reintroducing their customers to a brand that caters to their individual wardrobe needs. The premium fabrics are sourced from India’s leading producers to provide comfort in addition to style. Furthermore, the brand also offers free reverse pick-ups and alterations to ensure customers are completely satisfied with the fit of their garments.

Already paving the way for more sustainable choices by creating custom clothing based on each new order as per the client’s preferences, the brand also uses 100% recycled polyester, organic cotton and green viscose in addition to cruelty-free merino wool. In addition to all of this, The Pant Project offers customisable monogramming, free of cost on every order, providing the all-inclusive experience of curating one’s own wardrobe, with a special ode to each piece.
