Kennedy

Anurag Kashyap returns with a neo-noir thriller Kennedy starring Rahul Bhatt and Sunny Leone. The film is about an insomniac ex-cop who is presumed dead for a long time, dwelling in different circumstances, looking for redemption as he operates secretly for a corrupt system. The film is set to premiere at Cannes on May 24.

Sid Sriram's Tiny Desk Performance

Indian-American singer Sid Sriram has taken the music world by storm with his soulful voice. He has worked on a number of projects as a playback singer across languages following his first album, Entropy, that was released in 2019. The singer recently announced his tour for the second album Siddharth alongside Bon Iver. Celebrating AAPI Heritage Month, Sid Sriram is one of the first South Asian artists to perform at the Tiny Desk Concert.

Cajoo's

Known as the "cashew capital of India," Goa is rich in cashew trees that thrive in the region's tropical climate, making it one of the leading producers of cashew nuts which are featured prominently in the local culinary repertoire. As an ode to this prevalent Goan fruit, Chef Radhika Khandelwal recently announced the opening of a new neighbourhood bar, 'Cajoo's', that specializes in cocktails and cuisines from the Konkan coast.

Woven Into Being

5 artists showcase their artistic vision and tactile narratives through the mediums of textiles, gauche and acrylic on canvas, ceramics, clay and embroidery in a group exhibition called Woven Into Being that explores the 'possibilities of perception and multi-sensorial visuality through metamorphoses of forms and mediums'. It's up till May 23 at Latidude 28 in Delhi.
