Aate Jaate Kyun by Shai x Mazza

Following on from her successful Hindi garage single, Tum Na Mere Ho which progressed to the ‘B List’ on BBC Asian Network, singer-songwriter and actress, Shai teams up with East London drill producer Mazza for a new track called Aate Jaate Kyun? The track delves into the relentless grip of memories that persistently resurface following a heartbreak, refusing to release their hold despite attempts to move on. It explores the challenge of trying to un-love someone as their haunting presence lingers on, becoming an unexpected source of torment and nightmares.

Burn It To The Ground by Shreea Kaul

Burn It To The Ground is a new track by the emerging female R&B singer Shreea Kaul based in North America. It is a unique marriage between deep house and Indian classical music also featuring a snippet of a rendition of the famous song Maar Dala from the Bollywood film Devdas. Kaul narrates the story of a scorned lover burning her relationship to flames after being gaslighted to the brink of madness. The song is picking up steam in the dance community, especially amongst classically trained (bharatanatyam/kathak) performers.

Founder of Wind Horse Records, Hamza is a Deep House artist hailing from New Delhi who released his latest single called Cheetah, a track that embodies the essence of summer, inviting listeners to bask in the sunshine with its mesmerizing blend of tropical-inspired soundscapes. Cleverly layered percussion adds a shamanic-house ambience, while mysterious vocal hints at the track's transformative nature. Incorporating subtle sonic elements and samples inspired by the lush jungles, Cheetah delivers an infectious and tribal summer sound perfect for the season.
