Indian Producer Anyasa Is Taking His New EP On A North American Tour

Anish Sood going by the moniker 'Anyasa' is an Indian melodic and techno artist who started his music career in 2008 at the age of 18 and played a huge part in shaping the dance-music scene in India. At the forefront of the electronic music movement in the country, he’s toured alongside a wide array of acts ranging from Dixon and Black Coffee to David Guetta and Kygo, while performing at global festivals including Tomorrowland Unite and Electric Daisy Carnival as well as co-writing a song with the Black Eyed Peas.

He is the first Indian artist signed to Anjunadeep, the label founded by Above & Beyond, and named after the famous Anjuna Beach in Goa, close to where Anish lives. The star who had released his debut Gaya EP as Anyasa in July 2021 has now announced a new four track EP and debut North America tour including a NYC date at the iconic Brooklyn Mirage. He's poised to take the next step in his journey, with the release of his third EP Apollo, set to hit the stores on June 20th, 2023. 

Named after the Greek god of art, music and poetry, the four-track package is the perfect reflection of his highly recognisable sound. Each track has a unique story tied to an iconic neighborhood and draws inspiration from its history. Colaba and Shiva Valley are both uptempo singles and already wildly popular with fans who have experienced the tracks in his live sets, Khimsar and Shibuya explore the deeper side of the EP.

The young creative has beautifully mastered the balance between classical Indian sounds and modern electronica, to be known as one of the most proficient producers in the industry. This distinctive style has found global acceptance with his EPs under the Anjunadeep banner. Amassing a wide audience with performances at Printworks in London, Anjunadeep Explorations in Albania, Expo 2020 in Dubai, DGTL in Mumbai and more.

Anyasa is now set to expand his global reach with his first headline North America tour across the US and Canada in Chicago, Toronto, Miami, New York, San Francisco, Seattle and Vancouver. With his upcoming tour, Anyasa aims to introduce American audiences to the rich cultural tapestry of India. He brings a fresh and innovative approach to his performances, incorporating elements of traditional Indian music with a contemporary twist, thereby creating a truly unforgettable and immersive experience for his listeners.
