The short 11-minute gripping documentary by Kashmir-based filmmaker Rizza Alee was brought to life with support from GoPro. The film is an extraordinary tale of courage and tenacity, centred on the trailblazing journey of Firdous A. Chaila, a 54-year-old visionary from Kashmir who single-handedly ushered in the exhilarating world of snowboarding to this snow-kissed region. Although the sport is conventionally linked to young and white-skinned enthusiasts, in Gulmarg, the northern Indian ski hub, it has been witnessing a slow but steady rise in popularity.

Born from the collaboration between the creative minds behind The Daily in Mumbai, architect Ayaz Basrai, and the talented chef Jyoti Singh, an upcoming restaurant aims to become your 'Second House' in Goa. Anticipated to open its doors at the end of July, this establishment goes beyond being just a restaurant; it aspires to be a visual art, restaurant, and bar space, all seamlessly woven into an old Goan home. Sheea Kaul Drops A New Single

Burn It To The Ground is a new track by the emerging female R&B singer Shreea Kaul based in North America. It is a unique marriage between deep house and Indian classical music also featuring a snippet of a rendition of the famous song Maar Dala from the Bollywood film Devdas. Kaul narrates the story of a scorned lover burning her relationship to flames after being gaslighted to the brink of madness. The song is picking up steam in the dance community, especially amongst classically trained (bharatanatyam/kathak) performers.

A Multi-Sensory Exhibition At The London Design Biennale

Renowned architecture and design studio Archohm, and Boond Fragrances collaborate on an exhibition presenting the India Pavilion Titled 'Chowk & Charpai inviting visitors to delve into a multi-sensory interpretation of a quintessential Indian chowk, or marketplace. Amidst this enchanting setting, guests will have the opportunity to experience the alluring fragrances of माटी | MAATI and मोतिया | Motiya. The exhibition features a stunning handmade installation, standing at an impressive 5 meters tall, which serves as a visual metaphor for the traditional woven daybed known as 'charpai.' Through this unique fusion of design, fragrance, and culture, visitors will be transported to the bustling streets of India.

On the occasion of World Music Day, the eighth edition of New World Order presents a night of captivating performances by the city's favorite electronic and bedroom pop artists. Among the lineup is the dynamic duo 'Perp & Linfomation,' whose electrifying act combines the talents of drummer and producer Linfomation with the soulful vocals of singer-songwriter Perp. Additionally, the Mumbai-based producer and singer known as 'Your Chin' will grace the stage, mesmerizing the audience with his signature blend of richly layered beats and dreamy lyrics.
