Coronavirus Prevention: Young Scientist In Lucknow Develops Drone For Effective Sanitisation
Hindustan Times

In the midst of rising coronavirus related cases in the country, a young scientist from Lucknow, named Milind Raj has designed a drone prototype that can carry 7-10 litres of disinfectants that can operate through the transmitter, mobile or computer and can be used for effective sanitisation. After China, Milind is the first person who has made such a drone. This model can sanitize at least 20 cars at a time. He made the drone to sanitize such areas where sanitiser vents can’t reach.

Milind Raj, in an interview with IndiaToday said “This drone can easily sanitise vehicles in apartments and societies. It is fully automatic and easy to operate. The drone sanitiser weighs around 10 kgs and has 6 rotary engines. I am also working on developing a drone that can carry 30 litres of disinfectants. Such drones can help in containing the spread of the virus with effective sanitisation.”

States like Telangana, Chattisgarh and Tamil Nadu have already started using drones to spray disinfectants on roads and vehicles.
