Wellbeing and Nutrition, an enterprise started by Avnish Chhabria is an initiative in the ayurvedic medicine sector that makes use of a variety of potent fruits, vegetables and herbs to produce completely natural concoctions for various diseases. They have brought out various labels over the years, the recent one being an ode to the founder’s “Grandma”, who had a native knowledge about indigeneous herbs and remedies.

In an interview with Homegrown, Avnish Chhabria says about ayurvedic remedies, “ It’s all about nourishing the body with the right immuno boosters, so it builds a natural and sustainable defence in the long term. The biggest concern with the millennial audience today is while the awareness and benefits of these herbs are constantly fed to us we’re still unable to find that one perfect solution to fix a simple problem.” He eventually went on to create a line of products along his grandma’s recipes, and named it “Grandma’s Kadha”.

Rooted in the ancient science of Ayurveda, Kadha is a potent home remedy for various ailments. This system of healing was originated in India more than 5000 years ago, and stems from the ancient Vedic culture that was taught for many thousands of years in an oral tradition. The Kadha is made through a decoction of a multitude of herbs which are picked, ground and boiled in a smooth consistency, before being added to warm water. It helps both in strengthening one from within, as well as fighting seasonal infections. With an intention to bring back holistic healing and health, we have reimagined the treasure trove of the Kadha in a convenient form so it can be a part of your daily self-care ritual. This Kadha is a journey to return to your core self. It is simple and intrinsic to wholesome mental and physical health.

Launched by Wellbeing and Nutrition, the different Kadhas in the Grandma’s Kadha series include decoctions containing Kulinjan, Mulethi, Shankapushpi, Amla, Dry Ginger, Kalmegh and other such ayurvedic ingredients, which aid in improving chronic fatigue syndrome, relieving abdominal discomfort, improving brain fucntion, reducing high blood pressure etc.

Making Grandma’s Kadha is easy, convenient and travel friendly. All you need is a cup of hot water. Drop, let it dissolve and experience the magic remedy on-the-go!

Take 250ml of Drop the tablet hot water and wait for 2–3 minutes for it to dissolve

Enjoy a refreshing way to holistic health everyday.
