Mumbai Will Be Hosting India’s Biggest Vegan Festival This December - Register Now!

The past few years have seen a monumental rise in people trying to be more environmentally conscious and reduce their impact on the deteriorating planet, and veganism has resulted as a popular lifestyle choice to do the same. India is now becoming a hub for various vegan restaurants, stores and festivals, and one of the biggest vegan events of the country is back with a bang.

The One Earth Festival is an initiative of the Ahimsa Parmo Dharma, an exciting annual event that started out in 2016. The purpose of the festival is to propagate consciousness, to show people how to lead more environmentally sound lifestyles. The fest will include panels on areas like fitness and nutrition, as well as workshops on composting and organic farming. The fitness panels will be headed by enthusiasts such as Siddharth Shukla, India’s first Vegan Ironman and Kuntal Joisher, a vegan mountaineer, to show that people can lead fulfilling lives on sustainable diets. The festival aims to engage people of all ages, there is even a smoothie making workshop for children.

As a bonus, there are numerous stalls by food outlets selling delicious vegan items, like mock-meat, ice creams, pastries and more. Brands and businesses like Gowma and Treewise will also to be present, stocking a range of products like vegan leather bags, utensils, and cosmetics.
