Vivid colours and unique patterns that are reminiscent of classic fine art, the latest collection from homegrown brand Drawn is rightfully named Summer Reverie. The Spring/Summer 2025 collection from the brand features “bright, sun-drenched colours and silhouettes that move like a breeze” and obviously, is a great pick for the summer. But Drawn is not a seasonal label. If anything, they are big fans of re-wearing and talk about the power of styling. Comfort, ease and inclusivity are as important to the brand as having a signature appearance and incorporating art prints into their design.
For the summer reverie collection, they shared they were “...inspired by the uninhibited bliss of summer. ‘Summer Reverie’ captures the beauty of bold prints and uninhibited silhouettes with flowing maxis, breezy kaftan sets, and artful co-ords that seamlessly transition from sun-soaked escapes to city streets.” From bright coral hue to vibrant seafoam blues and greens and from earthy ochres to vibrant citrus hues, the collection's palette speaks to this sunny disposition as well.
In keeping with their approach of working with original artists, this Drawn collection was created with artists Maria Murphy and Meredith Walker. The former is known for her ethereal landscapes and fluid brushwork, while the latter is celebrated for her modern folk-inspired motifs; intricate, symbolic patterns rooted in storytelling and nature. From voluminous midi skirts and summery maxi dresses in pure cotton to oversized shirts and wide-legged pants in cotton/linen blend, the brand has created comfortable attire that seamlessly fits into one's wardrobe all year round.
As per their norm, this collection from Drawn is inclusive in sizing, with all the pieces already running big. In fact, they might be one of the only homegrown brands I’ve discovered, whose M sizing is suited for those up to chest measurement of 50 inches! For the brand founder, having stylish offerings for all body types was a priority and they continue this with each collection. But in talking specifically about this collection, the founder/creative director of Drawn Rhea Bhattacharya shared,
"This season is about abandonment in the best way possible—letting go, slipping into something easy, and simply enjoying the feeling of being. At Drawn, we believe that dressing is an extension of self-expression, a way to embody confidence and freedom.”

Bright, summery, and comfortable, Summer Reverie is a collection from Drawn that can elevate your wardrobe by adding liveliness and joy to it.
