Tell us a little about your work and artistic practice.
I grew up in Shantiniketan where I studied Art History. I mainly work as an illustrator and sometimes I make comics too. Other than that I’m interested in public art and printmaking media too.
What does your sketchbook mean to you?
My sketchbook speaks more than me. It’s the place where my experiences and my raw ideas are documented. My sketchbooks are usually full of scratchy-scrawny dirty scribbles and they are very close to my heart. I carry a sketchbook wherever I go and sketching is possibly the only activity I never get bored of.
Could you share one piece from your sketchbook that means something to you. Please share an image and tell us a little about why you’ve chosen it.
Simply because I love to sleep as much as I love to work and play! Getting a good amount of rest is important too. Overworked and drained out minds lag too much. Keep it fresh.
