The promo of Zee Prime’s new show ‘The Titan Games’ chronicles the tales of four real life Titans who have displayed strength and courage at every given step. These four enigmatic personas embody relentless hard work and strong mental fortitude, and are a testament of how mental resilience can lead you to true victory. Here are their stories:

I. Rajinder Singh Rahelu

Rajinder Singh Rahelu contracted polio when he was just 8 months old. A boy who used to crawl using his hands to move from place to place, went on to win a bronze medal in the 2004 Summer Paralympics in the 56 kg category & represented India in the 2008 & 2012 Summer Paralympic Championships. Rajinder credits his success to his close friend ‘Surinder Singh Rana’, who inspired and motivated him to become a world-class Power lifter. He fails to make excuses and says, “Weakness jaisi shabd meri dictionary me hai hi nahi” (A word like weakness does not exist in my dictionary).

II. Suhani Gandhi

A powerlifter, Suhani Gandhi cannot be stopped from lifting weights and breaking stereotypes. She became the first woman to represent India at the World Power lifting Competition, in the under the 90+ category, in Russia. In May 2018, she was declared the ‘Strongest Woman in India’ as part of the Strongman India League competition, held in Panjim, Goa. Who says women can’t be stronger than men?

III. Giles D’Souza

Real origin of parkour is to overcome any obstacles that may come your way and Giles is on a mission to bring this philosophy to life by climbing the city walls via mind and body coordination.

“I was not always very fit, but I always wanted to be more than just ordinary. Once I came across this documentary called ‘Jump London’ where these very powerful, athletic guys fluidly made their bodies to move and do these incredible jumps from one place to another! This inspired me from wanting to do something to actually doing something about it” says the parkour stalwart. He is probably the closest thing you can come to a ninja! He was also one of the few specialists who got the opportunity to conduct a ‘Parkour and Body Conditioning Intermediate Course’ for Specialized Commandos of the Indian Armed Forces in 2016.

IV. Nihad Panju

“When I was five months old I got Tubercular Meningitis. Did I know what that means? No. All I knew was that half my body didn’t work as well, and I had to adapt”, says Nihad Panju, a marathon runner who manages his life with the left side of his body partially paralyzed. A passion runner, Nihad has pushed himself to the edge and back with the support of his trainer Rustom and his family. Today Nihad is proud to state that he has completed half (21 kms) marathons 6-7 times along and many others and there are many more to go.
