Growing up in India, we have all received our fair share of greeting cards loaded with glitter that left a trail everywhere they had been, accompanied by text in fonts of the yesteryears and in colours that were jarring at the least. Almost like a customary compulsion, such greeting cards were a social obligation for each event.

Notcoy, a company that produces minimal and easy-on-the-eyes greeting cards had had enough of the tacky card culture, too. Founder Tanisha Uchil, however, was not ready to let go of the beauty of greeting cards — a symbol to remind a loved one that they are in your thoughts! The effort to remind them continues to be precious.

Notcoy’s range of greeting cards are pretty in pastel with one-liners to make you giggle — “You’re one of my favourite parents”, “Thanks for letting me use your Netflix” and “Damn, that sucks!” amongst many more.

As Tanisha believes, it is the right time to make someone you love, happy. Needless to say, we couldn’t agree more.
