I somehow land up at Jio World Garden every weekend. At this point, it's all blending together in my memory. But Black & White Ginger Ale's brand activation at Zomaland still stands out. Two weekends ago, Black & White Ginger Ale hosted Table for Everyone. The event was designed to foster connection through food, bringing everyone together for two days of communal dining, live cooking, and immersive experiences that celebrated the simple joy of sharing meals.
Central to the event was the Magic of Sharing Zone, where we were encouraged to embrace the social aspect of food. Curated by Chef Parth Bajaj, the menu featured two platters — one vegetarian and one non-vegetarian — crafted to be enjoyed collectively. “The idea is to bring people closer — if you come alone, you can meet someone new. If you’re with someone, you can share,” Chef Parth explains.
Beyond just dining, Table for Everyone infused energy into the experience with the Kitchen Rave. A unique blend of music and gastronomy, this segment featured renowned Brooklyn pizzaiolo Chef Frank Pinello conducting a live cooking demonstration, showcasing his expertise in crafting perfect pizzas while a DJ played high-energy beats.
Adding to the excitement, Chef Parth took to the stage to prepare smashed potatoes in real-time. “It’s about creating an experience where food and music come together. The energy of the music enhances the food, and vice versa,” he notes.
For Chef Parth, food is more than sustenance — it’s a medium of connection and expression. “Before COVID, I started Food Works, where groups of 120-150 strangers bonded over food walks. We’d pool in money, visit 10 different food spots, and share meals. Some of those people are still in touch today,” he says. He considers food an art where every chef adds their own touch.
Black & White Ginger Ale carefully crafted beverages to enhance the dishes. A standout drink of the evening was a special ginger mojito. With great food, immersive entertainment, and an atmosphere that encouraged connection, Table for Everyone proved that dining is about more than just eating — it’s about the people you share it with.
