Homegrown Staff

The ongoing global health crisis has hit the creative industries in a big way financially. Khoj International Artists’ Association, a non-profit contemporary arts organisation based in Delhi has come out to extend a helping hand to young artists in these challenging times.

Khoj has announced the Khoj Support Grant 2020 for early-career artists and creative practitioners. The grant is a bi-monthly (once every 2 months) rolling grant. Under this initiative, starting June 2020, Khoj will support the ongoing practice of twenty artists with a modest sum of Rs. 25,000 each.

The grant is intended to help artists stay engaged with their practice and support themselves in the process. At the end of the grant duration of six months, the artists can choose to either show the final outcome in case of material practice or share the documentation of their creative process through any medium of their choice – their artist’s notebook or an audio-visual document.

The deadline for the June grants is 15th May 2020.

For more information about the grant, you can head over to the Khoj website here.
