Get Your Timeless Slow Fashion Fix At Aimée Loved

Meghna Mathew

Here at Homegrown, our love for thrifting precedes us. From its contribution to a more sustainable world, to its ability to bring back the style of the yesteryears, we’re here for it all.

Aimée Loved is one such store that we have our eyes on. Their Instagram page was launched in June of this year during the lockdown and quarantine period. While the conditions were as far from the ideal as they could have been, with their impeccable curations, Aimée Loved was able to overcome the challenges.

Describing the style of the kind of collections they put out, team Aimée Loved says, “Laid-back and timeless, because we try and mindfully curate the collection to become wardrobe essentials instead of a trend.”

What began as a way to put unused clothes to good use by giving them to those who could put it to use, is now a full-fledged thrift store with a large online presence. “Since we’ve come to make conscious buying decisions ourselves, it didn’t make sense for us to buy something from a fast-fashion brand with no uniqueness and individual style to the way we dress,” explains team Aimée Loved.

They have also just started another thrift page, Aimée Men, dedicated to gender-fluid clothing with which they hope to start conversations about gender-neutral pieces in the thrift culture.
