A Mumbai based design studio, that have their expertise listed and in life sized projects, in India all the way in Tanzania (East Africa). These living spaces are exceptionally curated characterised with outstanding interiors and distinctive design. The Gabion House is a quintessential illustration of one of their projects, showcasing their broad repertoire of projects that they have under their wing. Two worlds collide to meet halfway and form a perfect composition of rustic and modernistic. The Gabion wall amassed with a collection of rocks set into place as a shrouded cape of lush greenery tapers the pathway. The pathway is aligned with smooth slabs that lead you to the rustic abode. Feel free to perambulate and wander around this dewey clad house, surrounded by a spray of hills over looking the lake and the lofty terrains.
The serene landscape only add to the unique charm of this house. The verandah’s characterised by it’s 10 foot width and adorned with reddish brown brown cobble stones. Accompanied with a neatly set swing bed for you ease into and cherish sunsets a little more, reading a dreamy novel. The exuberant display of the pool overlooks the lake, facing the peak clad zone, a reflective plane, a mirage. The interiors are adorned with brass lights and moody lighting, perfect for those who love the Danish art of being cozy; Hygge. The minimalistic touches overtly exude a rather sophisticated charm. The stone clad Gabion House features outdoor showers, perfect for those ardent nature aficionados who love bathing in the wild and leaves it all up to the tropical foliage to serve as a natural canopy. This little cozy abode could perhaps, be your place of refuge or your heaven on earth.
