Take To The Skies With India's First Drone School

Meghna Mathew

When the advent of drones came about, we were lost in a frenzy of its possibilities. From deliveries to surveillance, and military to entertainment, we expected it all. As the technology grows, it also shows promising potential for the future.

Keeping this prospective in mind, the first Drone School in India is now open in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh! ANI tells us that Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan were the ones to inaugurate it.

“First drone school in the state has been inaugurated in Gwalior. There’s huge employment potential in this industry as drones can be used for various purposes.”

— Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Madhya Pradesh CM

While we know that the possibilities with drones are endless, the curriculum, eligibility, and other such criteria are not yet specified.

It is exciting to see India, Madhya Pradesh particularly, take steps forward in exploring technology like never before. The youth of India is booming with ideas, and government-backed education and training in such fields is a sight that is more than welcome.
