Samiksha Chaudhary

There is no doubt that we all live chaotic lives that are often spent chasing insane deadlines, and goals while still making space for our social lives. If the past few years have been any learning, it is to cherish the small moments and make time for things that truly matter. So it comes as no surprise that in the past few years there has also been a larger emphasis on embracing slow living.

Slow living is essentially a countercultural lifestyle choice and life philosophy that believes in curating more meaningful, balanced, mindful, conscious and life-affirming choices that are in line with what you value most in life.

Inspired by the concept of slow living is a Slow Pottery Studio & Store by Nikita Dawar which is located in the Velanga mango orchards in Andhra Pradesh. Located in the lap of nature, the 50-acre mango orchard has cottages built using vernacular design, local material, and vintage aesthetics.
