Want To Design A Concept For Affordable & Quality Student Housing? Apply Now And Win Prizes

Homegrown Staff

No college nostalgia is complete without the mention of those carefree hostel days. However, a lot of these hostels have cramped rooms housing four to five people. Sometimes, and while it seems like such a disservice voicing it out now, they are also lacking in basic amenities like a nice bed or proper lighting. Now, imagine if you got a chance to design a living space for yourself or even your friends? Sounds like something we’d truly be excited to work on!

With the surge of students enrolling in college programmes, affordable and good quality student housing is turning into one of those problems that require a quick and creative solution.

Archmello - The Habitat invites students, architects, interior designers and just about anyone to design a student housing community for 140 student occupants with all shared amenities. The community needs to have a studio, double occupancy & four sharing units with all state of the art facilities. The design should become the ‘REFERENCE PROJECT’ for Student Housing in India.

One can participate individually or in a team. A team can have a maximum of 3 members.
