Experience Tyler Street Art’s Resistant Art In Person At His First Exhibit

In the recent past, there have been various instances of people standing up against events and policies that plague our country. In their own ways, they have resisted impactfully so as to create enough noise to gather the right kind of attention.

A name that stands out for us in this matter is Tyler Street Art – an institution of an individual who anonymously creates pieces of resistance art in public spaces to truly get people thinking. ‘India’s Banksy’ became a fair comparison, and now, he is all set to execute his first solo art exhibit in Mumbai.

The multi-location exhibit will be up on 14 January and will be retained until 7 March at the Method Art Space in Kala Ghoda and Method Contemporary Arts & Treats in Bandra, with the majority of the work being showcased at the former. Much to our liking, the entry to this exhibit is free of cost.

Tyler’s art is not only brilliant – it is necessary. It’s the kind that deserves attention, and with it, a large amount of praise for raising his voice and highlighting what needs to be highlighted. Here’s hoping this exhibit brings more of the same!
