Spirits by Bishi

Bishi, the London-born Bengali multi-talent, unveils her latest EP, featuring tracks from her original score for the VR videogame installation, Maya: The Birth of a Superhero. This immersive narrative follows the transformation of Maya, an everyday 21st-century girl, into a female superhero whose powers stem from menstruation. Through Maya's journey, Bishi delves into the complexities of tradition, shame, and taboo, highlighting the challenges faced by contemporary women.

Mashoor by Sheherazaad

Sheherazaad, hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area and raised in an immigrant household, introduces her debut single Mashoor, an alternative folk or experimental ballad that draws from both Western classical and South Asian musical traditions.
