What does it truly mean to belong? Is it a sense of association, identity, or security? Or perhaps, it's the innate connection with nature, with oneself, or with a community.

In a world where belonging is often sought after but rarely understood, Little Stint II has conceptualised a whole event around theatre, dance, film and music surrounding the idea of belonging. This edition delves into the multifaceted concept of belonging, exploring its diverse meanings and interpretations through live performances, films, music, theatre, and dance.

A collaboration between WIP labs and OddBird Foundation, this conceptual event is a celebration of independent artists and a platform for encouraging experimentation and conversation through the performing arts. The event kicks off with a mesmerising lineup of live performances, each offering a unique perspective on the theme of belonging. From movement and dance to theatre and music, the artists take attendees on a journey of self-discovery and introspection.

On the 28th of March, the Angdaai Project takes center stage, offering a choreographic exploration of the body's freedom and intelligence. Through movement, somatics, and a captivating soundscape, Vaishnavi Mannava, Aabshaar Wakhloo, and Surbhi Mittal invite the audience to participate in the evolution of their work in progress.

The 30th of March brings Rihla, an adaptation of Andreas Flourakis' award-winning play, "I Want A Country." Presented by Aagaaz Repertory, the performance follows a group of young citizens on a journey to define their own sense of belonging in a changing world.

In addition to live performances, Little Stint II showcases a curated selection of films that resonate with the theme of belonging. From dance films to documentaries, each screening offers a thought-provoking exploration of identity, resilience, and the human experience.

Little Stint II is more than just an event, it's a platform for artistic expression, dialogue, and discovery. Through a diverse range of performances and screenings, attendees are invited to explore the different ways we can belong.
