Bengaluru, This August, We're Bringing You A One-Of-A-Kind Japanese Experience

On Saturday, 2 August 2025, Bengaluru will experience a bold, neon-lit glimpse of Tokyo nightlife — no passport needed. In the thick of things at Indiranagar, next to GoRally Pickleball, Homegrown and Japanese whiskymaker Suntory is creating a one-of-a-kind cultural event with One Night in Toki-O, an immersive evening of music, art, food, fashion, and highballs.

This isn’t your ordinary pop-up event. Think of it as a playful time machine — one that transports you from Bengaluru’s streets to the hidden back alleys of Shibuya and the legendary izakayas of Osaka, where tradition and modernity collide in lively harmony. Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Toki — meaning 'time' — the event embodies Suntory’s heritage of respecting tradition and embracing reinvention.

The musical lineup features genre-spanning sets from Mad Neighbor (via @onthejunglefloor), Dynamite Disco Club soundsystem, and Rishi Sippy, who will keep the dance floor alive until late into the night. Guests can also enjoy authentic izakaya-style food pop-ups, explore a Japanese denim art lab by Monks of Method, and play retro games in arcades while sipping on matcha and Suntory Toki whisky.

Suntory’s flagship whisky, Toki, is a metaphor in a glass: a bold yet balanced blend that honours Japan’s rich distilling history while embracing modern tastes. Created by visionary founder Shinjiro Torii, whose Yamazaki distillery pioneered Japanese whisky in 1923, Toki pays homage to the past and toasts the future. At One Night in Toki-O, this philosophy guides every detail — from immersive installations to curated cocktails.
