Bandra-based Ravi Vazirani's design process is deeply personal, drawing inspiration from his surroundings and travels. His artistry is driven by clients' needs, aesthetics, and life stories, resulting in a unique stamp of craftsmanship. The self-taught designer, acclaimed as Elle Décor Product Designer of the Year in 2022, founded the studio in 2010 which has been a hub of diverse design projects, ranging from homes and offices to stores and restaurants. Vazirani's unique aesthetic, seamlessly blends functionality with a touch of individuality, and has attracted celebrities, high-net-worth individuals, and business leaders alike.
In 2021, Vazirani expanded his creative horizons with the launch of Qit.A, a furniture brand that delves into traditional craftsmanship techniques. The collection includes cocktail tables, vases, stools, and other pieces, each reflecting Vazirani's commitment to uniqueness and quality. His tableware collection for Ikai Asai, inspired by the Kanjeevaram saree, redefined stoneware aesthetics with a lighter touch and vibrant colors.
Vazirani's furniture line boasts organic designs, evident in the Mudda chair, a contemporary reinterpretation of a timeless classic, and the Marble Scoop Table, blurring the lines between function and decoration. The table lamps and coffee tables feature an organic look, eschewing clean lines for a more natural, textured appeal, available in a spectrum of colors from matt black aluminum to glossy green.
Adding a touch of artistry to illumination, the Fiber Lamp is a hand-finished plaster masterpiece, while the Earth Bliss candle marries the beauty of soy wax with sand casting, resulting in unique, functional pieces that double as decorative elements.
