In other news, did you know that these camels Are probably some of the most fashionable ones around? They’re decked out in everything from elaborate draping to buckles and saddles but what’s most unique to this annual bonanza are their designer tattoos. 

Don’t go running to PETA just yet though, their methods are entirely humane. Owners simple cut and dye the animal’s hair for three years until they reach results that are satisfactory enough for them to parade in the contest. In fact, the first two years go by in simply growing and trimming the hair.
