One of our only, if not biggest, chance to return to a near-normal COVID-19-free world is to vaccinate populations.
Today, on 28 April, 2021, at 4 PM, India will open up registrations for the COVID-19 vaccinations to all adults (as of now, only those above 45 years of age are eligible). From 1 May, 2021, the vaccination drive for all above 18 years of age will begin.
To be prompt about the registration for the vaccine, one may register in one of two ways. The following are the steps, each, for the CoWIN portal as well as the Aarogya Setu app.
Note: Maharshtra will not be beginning the vaccination drive for the 18-44 age group from 1 May 2021 due to shortage of vaccine doses.
