Spryk, Tejas Nair’s electronic music and art exploration project, is transcending all boundaries forged within the world of music. His work is largely home to a unique brand of bass music that sets the tone for the nature of art installations that are alongside. However, he is not restrictive in the genres he explores, and it is the multiverse nature of his sets that have got him to play alongside UK grime legend Swindle, footwork don DJ Earl and Portuguese producer Holly at India’s cutting edge electronica venues.

2016 was a big year for Spryk, what with the release of his debut EP “Slow Fast” on the New York based label, High Chai Recordings. He also went on to design the soundscape, and contributed vastly towards the musical score of India’s first full length feature AAA Video Game “Antariksha Sanchar”. In the same year, Spryk launched BEYOND | WITHIN - a virtual reality AV experience in association with Tesselate Studio, which was showcased at Magnetic Fields Festival in Rajasthan.

With all this in the making, it was about time Spryk created an HG session that is an embodiment of his own musical journey. He says, “I’ve recently been exploring the heavier halftime side of Bass music and have been really enjoying it. This set features some of my favourite producers at the moment and will give you taste of what to expect at my DJ sets.”

Catch him in Mumbai and Delhi on the dates below:
