Vinyl, Izakaya, & Immersive Art: ‘One Night In Toki-O’ Returns To New Delhi On March 27

‘One Night In Toki-O’ is returning to Delhi on March 27 — transforming Dirty Good into a night-long celebration of Japanese culture through vinyl music, Shodo calligraphy, art experiences, and Izakaya-inspired food.

‘One Night In Toki-O’, presented by Toki Suntory Whisky x Homegrown, returns to New Delhi on March 27 at Dirty Good with vinyl-first DJ sets by Kohra and Antariksh, DJ performances by Kunal Schhabra and Sheral B, live Shodo calligraphy, art installations, and a curated Izakaya menu. The event celebrates Japanese culture through music, art, and culinary experiences.

Japan has long maintained two seemingly contradictory relationships with time. The first is the concept of mono no aware, or an acute sensitivity to impermanence — a recognition of the transience of things, most visibly expressed in the annual ritual of hanami, the collective witnessing of cherry blossoms before they fall. The second is a commitment to the timeless that borders on the absolute — the preservation of traditions passed from generation to generation without change. These seemingly contradictory threads are parts of a coherent philosophy that to truly reckon with what passes, you must also commit to what endures.

Representative Image: 'One Night In Toki-O' transports you to an exciting new world where the juxtaposition of old and new highlights our creative reinvigoration — a vivid world that is dynamic, playful, and whimsical.

‘One Night in Toki-O’, a collaboration between Toki Suntory Whisky and Homegrown, is a celebration of this timeless ethos. After a successful one-night-only pop-up in a 6,000 sq. ft. shed in The Dhan Mill — Delhi’s next-gen culture and retail district — on April 12, 2025, ‘One Night in Toki-O’ is returning to New Delhi on March 27, 2026. This time, we will be taking over Dirty Good, transforming the space into a vibrant evening inspired by Japan’s creative energy.

At the heart of the evening is a music programme centred around vinyl-led soundscapes. The lineup features vinyl-led DJ sets by Kohra (@kohra_) and Antariksh (@antarikshdaddy), alongside sets by Kunal Schhabra (@kunalschhabra) and Sheral B (@sheralb_). Together, the artists will bring an eclectic mix of electronic, groove-driven, and experimental sounds that echo Tokyo’s underground music scene while building bridges with Delhi’s evolving club and listening-room culture.

The event will also include Japan-inspired visual art and interactive creative experiences. A live Shodo calligraphy installation will explore the meditative Japanese art of brush lettering, while dedicated spaces like the Toki Vinyl Studio and Art Studio invite visitors to engage with sound, design, and creative expression more closely.

A special Izakaya-inspired menu, cureated by Dirty Good and drawing from the casual Japanese dining tradition where food, drinks, and conversation flow together, will round off the night. Designed for sharing and discovery with friends and strangers, the menu complements the event’s broader ethos of cultural exchange and communal celebration. This is Japan like you’ve never seen before — right in the heart of Delhi.
