As April slips into May, every mind drifts into vacation mode. Away from the nine to five chaos of work and the hustle and bustle of city life, some hear the mountains calling and head that way, others find comfort in rolling up in blankets at home or exploring their own cities. For those who are looking for a unique experience this summer, The Alipore Post is hosting an all-day creative summer camp.
Conceived as a daily newsletter celebrating the love for art, poetry, and music, Rohini Kejriwal’s The Alipore Post is a Facebook Community of nearly 16,000 followers. Uniting all creative minds under one roof, the Alipore Post is hosting a summer camp on May 20th, 2018.
The day-long fiesta will see various interactive activities like cooking, bookbinding and zine-making, among many others. Putting some groove in the camp will be a live music event and vinyl set by Etienne and Trisha Le Andre. Other day-long activities will include live poetry by Rahul Kondi, the Alipore Post Pop-Up Library, art-making corner, stick and poke tattoos, board games, stalls by Something Sketchy, Anant Ram Dubey, Freddie’s BakeHouse and more!
A creatively curated Sunday, the summer camp will be hosted in Bangalore at The Bohemian House – a bungalow turned creative co-working space that serves as a work-station for all artistic minds. While the workshops are priced differently, the entry fee is Rs 100 and is open to all.
