Pune & Chennai Students Develop A Satellite; To Be Launched On 22nd June By ISRO

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is set to launch 20 satellites in one rocket on June 22. According to report, set to lift off at 9.25am, Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) will move up from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. Amongst the 20 satellites in the rocket, ‘Swayam’ is a satellite completely developed by the students of College of Engineering Pune. The rocket is expected to reach its destination in 26 minutes after launch and the satellites will then revolve around earth, six times a day.
