Attend Asia’s First Gaming Festival That Is Happening In Mumbai

“Look away from the screen and get to work” is what avid gamers are usually at the receiving end of. There isn’t really a place that Indian gamers can go to do what they love in peace while interacting with other gaming enthusiasts. Well, all this is about to change really soon. This December, gamers across the country have an opportunity to do what they love the most while getting the opportunity to win great prizes.

DreamHack, a Swedish production company that specializing in E-sports tournaments and gaming convention is here in the city of Mumbai to host its first ever gaming festival. The event is said to be the first of its kind to be hosted across Asia and is organised by NODWIN Gaming and Viacom18 with the support Monster and Hyper X.

This first Asian edition is offering to its participants a whopping cash price of INR 1 Crore and holding the infamous 24-hours-a-day Local Area Network (LAN) party complete with e-sports gaming tournaments and Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC). Dream Hack will feature leading games such as DoTA, CSGO, KO Fight Nights and Mobile Cricket. The Participants will get a chance to rub shoulders with international teams and gamers and can opt to take part in a cosplay competition. From PuBG tournaments to Dota 2 and CS tournaments, this gaming carnival is a paradise for Indian gamers.

For the tech enthusiasts, the event is organizing the DreamExpo, one of the biggest gaming exhibitions in the country, where one can get their hands on the latest technology and gadgets. It also has a ‘Retro Zone’ consisting of arcade machines with nostalgic games like Pinball, Tetris, Mario brothers et.al along with card and board games like foosball, monopoly and dungeons & dragons

Even for those not so keen on gaming, the event promises entertainment with stand-up comedy acts performed by comedians Sorabh Pant, Azeem Banatwalla, Saurabh Mehta and Niveditha Prakasam along with EDM concerts by DJ Shaan Singh, DJ Sartek and DJ Zenith.
