Attend A 3 Day Digital Music Festival Hosted by the Berklee College Of Music & MAP

The Bengaluru-based Museum of Art & Photography (MAP) has always pushed the boundaries in pursuit of the proliferation of art & culture in new and interesting formats in the country. This pioneering private museum is now collaborating with the Berklee College of Music to present a three-day digital music festival, Art is Life: SoundFrames.

MAP envisions bringing art closer to the heart of the community. In an attempt to expand on this vision, Art is Life: SoundFrames is an initiative that celebrates local music and its power in community building. The festival brings together over 65 artists from across the country, with an equal mix of established and rising producers, singers, songwriters, and more.

As a promotional campaign leading up to the event, the two institutions have also collaborated on ‘Sounds of the City’, a unique sonic public engagement program that encourages homegrown music producers and composers to create music that is inspired by the cities of India.

The three day online event begins on December 3 and concludes on December 5 this year and will host a plethora of workshops related to music, art, and its influences on contemporary Indian culture. Other workshops which revolve around music therapy, songwriting, and more will also feature several sessions hosted by the Indian Music Experience (IME).

The festival is also hosting some of the most prominent names in the Indian music community including Grammy winner Ricky Kej, the world’s first Hindi acapella group- Penn Masala, songwriter-composer duo SubraMania, and more.
