Departing from conventional genre restrictions, Disco Puppet incorporates iconic pop sounds such as 808s, autotune, and gated drums. The album introduces a high-contrast palette, blending pop elements with unconventional features like processed and distorted drums, super-saturated recordings, and carefully chosen samples, creating a dynamic interplay of restraint and abrasion throughout the record.

Zaeden's 2024 release, 5 am, marks his debut in the dance-pop genre, showcasing a fresh evolution in sound and visuals.
