Photo Connect, conceived by Astitva Photo, is not just a meetup but a platform designed to nurture a vibrant ecosystem of photographers and visual artists. Its core mission revolves around inclusivity, welcoming individuals of all skill levels, from emerging talents to seasoned professionals. The essence lies in fostering a sense of belonging, where participants can share experiences, exchange ideas, and forge meaningful connections.

The most interesting aspect of Photo Connect are its monthly meetups, meticulously created to offer a blend of inspiration, learning, and camaraderie. Each session features a distinguished guest speaker, chosen for their expertise and unique perspective within the space of photography. These speakers not only showcase their work but also engage in dialogue with attendees, offering insights, advice, and anecdotes from their journey.

Following the guest speaker's presentation, Photo Connect dedicates time to an 'Open Interaction Hour,' a forum where participants can actively engage with both the speaker and their fellow attendees. This segment serves as a catalyst for collaboration, where ideas are exchanged, projects are discussed, and feedback is generously shared. It's a space where creativity flourishes, fueled by the diversity of perspectives and experiences present.

No Photo Connect session is complete without the quintessential 'Chai-Coffee Hour,' where participants unwind, reflect, and connect on a more personal level. Amidst sips of chai and coffee and bites of snacks, bonds are strengthened, friendships are formed, and collaborations take root. It's a testament to the warmth and conviviality that permeates every Photo Connect gathering.

Photo Connect prepares for an enriching session, this time featuring the esteemed photojournalist and documentary photographer, Anindito Mukherjee. Scheduled for the 16th of March, 2024, at the GP Pro Camera Store in Delhi, this session promises to be a captivating exploration of Anindito's photographic journey and insights into the world of photojournalism.

Anindito Mukherjee's body of work speaks volumes about his dedication, talent, and commitment to storytelling through imagery. With a portfolio spanning health, politics, economics, and development, he brings a unique perspective to every narrative he captures. His affiliations with renowned publications and organizations like The New York Times, Getty Images, and Bloomberg underscore his standing as a seasoned professional in the field.

Photo Connect welcomes one and all to its monthly gatherings, free of charge and is rich in opportunity. Whether you're a new photographer, a seasoned veteran, or simply someone with a passion for visual arts, there's a place for you within this community.

Supported by PhotoSouthAsia, an initiative of the MurthyNAYAK Foundation, Photo Connect remains steadfast in its mission to empower, inspire, and connect photographers and visual artists across boundaries.
