The much-anticipated Jazz Weekender, is an international jazz festival, a hallmark event for the capital’s music scene, and promises to be an immersive and unforgettable experience under the iconic Banyan tree that has become synonymous with the festival’s unique ambience.

The Jazz Weekender has firmly established itself as a cornerstone of New Delhi’s cultural calendar, attracting over 3,000 attendees in each of its previous editions. This year’s festival is poised to elevate the experience further, offering a diverse lineup that spans multiple genres beyond jazz - including neo-soul, R&B, hip-hop, fusion, funk, and bossa nova.

The festival's previous lineups have been nothing short of spectacular, featuring international sensations such as Desmadre Orkestra, Cero Ismael, Tara Lily, and Trioritaët, alongside acclaimed local acts like Rhythm Shaw x Gino Banks, T.ill Apes, Tribemama Marykali, Kayan, NATE08, Sahil Vasudeva, and The Revisit Project. This year, attendees can expect the tradition of excellence to continue with performances that push the boundaries of musical virtuosity.

The Jazz Weekender is brought to life by boxout.fm, Wild City, Gatecrash, and Jazz in India, each contributing their unique expertise. Boxout.fm, a pioneer in the Indian music scene, offers a community-run platform showcasing alternative music through their human-curated online radio and events like Boxout Wednesdays. Wild City, initially an online music magazine, has grown into a prominent events company, hosting the annual Magnetic Fields Festival and spotlighting alternative culture in South Asia. Gatecrash, based in Mumbai and Goa, organizes high-quality concerts, curates music for various events, promotes jazz through Jazz in India, and develops social initiatives, all with a belief in music's transformative power.

In addition to the stellar musical performances, the Jazz Weekender offers a flea market featuring local artisans and vendors, diverse culinary experiences that cater to all tastes, and exclusive cocktail pop-ups that promise to elevate the festival atmosphere. This blend of music, culture, and community activities ensures that the Jazz Weekender is more than just a concert: it's a holistic cultural experience.
