India At Cannes

This year, four Indian films had their world premieres at the Cannes Film Festival. Anurag Kashyap's Kennedy, was screened at the Midnight Screenings segment, Manipuri film Ishanou by Aribam Syam Sharma premiered on 19th May, Nehemich by Yudhajit Basu was part of the competitive 'La Cinef' section, and Kanu Behl's Agra received a 5-minute standing ovation.

Hashbass & Warren Mendonsa 

Collaborating with Warren Mendonsa of 'Blackstratblues’ on guitar, Mumbai-based artist Hashbass released a new single called Infinite Worlds with punchy synths and a Wobble bassline that transports you to a world of video game arcades, roller blades and neon lights straight from the 80s. The track also features a very psychedelic-rock guitar solo by Warren.

Virsheté Spring/Summer '23

Virsheté is a Mumbai-based uber cool ready-to-wear fashion label that was kickstarted in 2019 by fashion designer and creative director, Vir Shete. An amalgam of eastern, western, and local influences into an identity that’s distinct and refined, yet universal, and relatable, the brand launched their latest Spring/Summer 2023 collection that you can check out here.

Mumbai's First Pop Art Gallery

The Designera, India's first and only exclusive pop art gallery based in Mumbai aims to nurture contemporary artists and empower pop art as a genre. Founded in 2020 by Amrita Deora, Designera is an incubator for creators that operates by handpicking emerging artists and providing them with creative support.

Performance Art Workshop

Kiran Nadar Museum of Art in Delhi, India's first private museum of modern and contemporary Indian art is hosting a participatory performance in the style of a workshop where you work with an 'ingredient' and build a dialogue around it in the context of its encounters in the urban sphere.
