Although he studied interaction design, Karan's true passion lies in the realm of visual arts and illustration. For the past twelve years, he has immersed himself in the world of art, drawing inspiration from his graphic design sensibilities and interpreting op-art minimalism in his own style. His journey as a self-taught artist has led him to develop a distinct language that revolves around boldness, vibrancy, and a playful exploration of the colour spectrum.

Karan's artistic career has taken him across the globe, from Tokyo to New York, Malmö to Amsterdam, Sydney to Melbourne. Among the places Karan has lived, Tokyo holds a special place in his heart. The city's influence on his work is evident in the simplicity and restraint that he admires in Japanese culture. He tells It's Nice That, "It’s hard to know when to put the pen down sometimes, so I’m constantly in awe at how flawlessly this is achieved through a few elements whether in art, fashion, or cuisine." This appreciation for simplicity shines through in his art, as he effortlessly combines complex patterns and colors to create visually striking compositions.

Singh's artistic versatility knows no bounds. Based in Amsterdam, he effortlessly transitions between various mediums, including illustrations, GIFs, animations, 3D motion graphics, AR, puzzles, sculpture, and even clothing. His creations find applications in print, social media, and television, as well as set designs for photo shoots, projections for art shows, and musical performances. From the static beauty of prints to the dynamic allure of animated works, Karan's art captivates and engages viewers across mediums.
