Here's The Full Music Artist Lineup For The Homegrown Festival 2025

Guess who's back? Only the most exciting festival you'll attend this year. In a 165-year-old warehouse in Byculla; music, art/design, fashion, film, conversations, food — everything that defines a culture, will gather for a two-day celebration of community.

The Homegrown Festival, at its core is a driver of the dialogue that keeps the Zeitgeist alive. Over the next 4 weeks we'll unveil everything you can expect at the festival so you can pick your poison.

However, if it's music, we have an eclectic curation of artists this year that bring their stories from across and beyond the country in the language they know best; hip-hop, jazz, indie-pop, acid house, Carnatic fusion, techno, Afrobeats, drum & bass; the list goes on. We've got an exciting line-up for you and your favourite artist might just be on it. Check it out below:

Homegrown Festival 2025 is back on Feb 22-23, and this year, the spotlight is all about celebrating the incredible talent of women in music. Whether you're a rapper, singer-songwriter, or a prodicert, this open call for talent is your chance to step onto a massive stage and get the recognition you deserve. No auditions though — just post a 30-second reel of your performance, tag Homegrown’s handles, and boom, you're in the running! The deadline is January 31. The perks? A guaranteed festival slot, flights, stay, a feature on Homegrown’s platform, and VIP guestlist. Apply now—who knows? The next big name in music might just be you.

Peter Cat Recording Co.

Peter Cat Recording Co. has had an incredible year. The band is known for their indefinable sound which is a melange of jazz, swing, gypsy, and disco with a heavy dose of cinematic nostalgia, creating an experience that’s both timeless and futuristic. With frontman Suryakant Sawhney’s velvet-smooth vocals reminiscent of Dean Martin and Kishore Kumar, their tracks feel like they’re straight out of an alternate universe where vintage glamour meets modern experimentation. At The Homegrown Festival, you can expect performances from their latest album, 'Beta'; a concoction that fuses storytelling, surrealism, and eclectic instrumentation.

Prabh Deep x Sickflip

Prabh Deep is a disruptor who has become a national treasure with his genre-fluid hip-hop and storytelling that's strongly rooted in identity and community. His introspective observations are paired with ear-candy production which makes his performance so much more anticipated when Sickflip comes into the picture. Brought to life by Sarvesh Shrivastava, Sickflip is a new-age electronica artist known for bringing afrohouse, amapiano and Gqom to the foreground of the Indian music scene. Their act is perhaps the most exciting collaboration to look forward to at The Homegrown Festival.

Akshath Acharya

Akshath has become the voice of a generation that craves authenticity in its music. With his breakout hit, ‘Nadaaniyan’, he took over indie charts and hearts, delivering a sound that’s equal parts catchy and heartfelt. Reble x Rae Mulla x PRP

Meghalaya’s Reble brings a unique flavour to the mix with her folk-inspired flows and sharp lyricism. Rae Mulla's playful and energetic artistry is both unpredictable and electric, while PRP is an emerging talent with a sound that’s fresh, dynamic, and impossible to ignore. Together, the trio are set to deliver what’s going to be nothing short of rap alchemy with their collaborative act this March.

GiGi FM is a cosmic force on the dance floor. Known for her unique fusion of techno, breaks, and bass-infused beats, GiGi’s sets are infused with a sense of otherworldly wonder. Her journey from spinning at intimate gatherings to dominating the club scene speaks to her ability to curate unforgettable musical experiences and makes her a must-watch act.
