We’ve Got 10 Seats For HG Readers At This Special Taco-Margarita Brunch – Book Now!

Homegrown Staff

Mexican food is all about heart and authenticity. As many contemporary takes on tacos and burritos you might have experienced in your jaunts around the world, few things hit the spot like a well balanced, all-kinds-of-lemony fish taco or a burrito that knows how to portion its fillings just right. With so many similarities in our culinary style and even many ingredients, you’d think Mumbai to have more than a few ‘tortilla temples’ to gorge on some great Mexican fare, but that’s exactly where you’d be wrong. Despite a huge amount of restaurateurs attempting to build empires of Mexican food, almost none hit the nail on the head, but a Mexican pop-up brunch this weekend is all set to change that. Two Aprons, a food start-up committed to delivering authentic culinary experiences is coming up with ‘The Taco Margarita Brunch’, and they have 5 seats reserved exclusively for Homegrown readers!

Comprising of 6 courses with a variety of sides, the brunch will comprise different types of tacos – think Charred butternut squash, salsa, sour cream, pickled onions wrapped in purple corn masa harina wrap, tostadas, ceviche, salsas, moles made with over 20 ingredients. All this will be accompanied by pitchers of delicious margaritas. For those willing to go all the way, a special Mexican spice flavoured shot will also be offered.

The co-founders, Chef Bhakti Mehta & Restauranteur Nikki Gupta are flying down all their ingredients from Mexico to keep the experience as authentic as possible. The venue too will be decked up to give out a Mexican vibe.

The brunch will take place on the 16-17th of June in Estella, Juhu, Mumbai. The cost per head is INR 3200 and like we said, 5 seats are reserved each day for Homegrown readers.

So grab all your amigos and book your slot right away! Write ‘Homegrown’, when asked ‘How did you find our about us?’ for a chance to win a place at this exciting brunch.
