Calling Out Indian Filmmakers To Work With Oscar-Awardee Orlando von Einsiedel

Homegrown Staff

Grain Media is looking to connect with filmmakers, who either already are, or could quickly begin filming the fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic towards an upcoming documentary that the company is producing on the subject. The project is to be directed by Oscar-winning documentary filmmaker Orland von Einsiedel (fame, Virunga (2014) and The White Helmets (2016) ) and is being produced by Dan Cogan who has produced Icarus (2017).

Grain Media is a London-based Academy Award, EMMY, and Peabody winning film production company founded by film director Orlando von Einsiedel and film producer Jon Drever. Through the aforementioned project, they want to draw together the work of multiple filmmakers from around the world to make a documentary that provides an insightful, humane and a truly global perspective. Grain Media produces films, broadcast television, and commercials.

They are specifically looking for stories of people and organisations as they battle this crisis all over the world, such as the stories of frontline workers, doctors, nurses, expectant mothers, epidemiologists, vaccine hunters, ambulance drivers, volunteers, and anyone and everyone who has been deeply affected by the pandemic in some or the other way.
